Founded in 2006 to combat a growing local problem, the Wesley Food Pantry has grown into a major force in the local scene.
The food pantry is open every Thursday from 5 - 7pm at Wesley.
The Wesley Food Pantry also has another location at Parkland College ("M" Building - room M138 across from the Planetarium; park in the M1 lot), which gives out food every Wednesday from 1 - 3pm, and on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month from 10am - 12pm.
The first Monday of each month, the Wesley Food Pantry also distributes food to University of Illinois students through its Student-Only Pantry.
The Wesley Food Pantry also now has a location in the Orange Room at Main Library! The food pantry has canned in additions to dried goods, and is available all students. No need to provide any personal information or income levels.
