Grocery Deliveries
Once a week, Emmanuel receives a referral from empty tomb of a local family in need of food. The lay member who delivers the food gathers non-perishables from the church's food pantry and supplements it with fresh food purchased at a local grocery store. Parishioners can donate canned goods or donate money for fresh food supplements.
Sack Lunch Program
Feeding the hungry is something we do year in, year out, because Jesus told us to. Each weekday at 9am, we provide up to two dozen lunches from the Emmanuel office door to those who would otherwise not have any food. These sack lunches are assembled by parishioners and given out by either staff or parishioners.
